The final component to Managed Business Deployment Services (MBDS) is the Shipment Management component. This component delivers the completed store/location kit to the customer specified location, on the customer specified date, and through a customer approved/specified carrier. MBDS verifies all parts of the store/location kit before delivery, and packages the kit in shipping materials appropriate for safe delivery. Managed Business works with packaging manufacturers to create custom packaging to minimize the potential of damage or malfunction due to shipment.
The Shipment Management process also includes documentation for the onsite installers. In addition, final documentation is supplied to the customer for facilitate complete Asset Management.
